VR Sends Students to Exotic Classroom

High school Spanish students took VR trip to South America

ALBANY, N.Y.—Students at the New Albany High School recently got to study abroad without having to leave their classroom courtesy of virtual reality technology. Using a smartphone and Google Cardboard viewing devices, the class—Spanish 2—experienced virtual tours of South American landmarks like Machu Picchu and an ancient Incan citadel, and were able to record their experiences.
