The company will show off its Carbonite Mosaic multi-screen image processor, a new compositing tool built on the Carbonite Black Plus engine that can output a canvas size of more than 20 million pixels. Carbonite Mosaic provides high resolution and layering capability for creating large-screen imagery for entertainment and sports venues.
Other new options in the routing range at InfoComm will include Ultrix-FR5, the 5RU version of Ross’ routing/AV processing platform, which can replace up to five full racks of traditional infrastructure products; the OGX OpenGear frame, which features 30% more power, improved cooling and a new user-definable frame glow feature; the Graphite integrated production solution; and the Carbonite Black Solo 13, the new self-contained production switcher and hardware panel combination with 13 inputs and six outputs.
Ross also plans to showcase venue-specific options like its Sports Venue solution, an integrated solution that features a Carbonite switcher, XPression real-time motion graphics and Abekas Mira replay server tied together with the DashBoard control system. The company’s meeting control system Lightning will be on display as will Ross OEM and developer solutions for live production media and audio networking and processing.
