NASA has recently released high speed footage from its High Dynamic Range Stereo X (HiDyRS-X) camera showing a rocket blast from its Orbital ATK’s QM-2 rocket motor. The HiDyRS-X’s purpose is to record at a high speed and at multiple exposures simultaneously so the footage shows all areas of the video image for analysis.
