LAS VEGAS–At Infocomm16, Vitec will display a series of streaming technologies on top of hosting a manufacturers training session on best practices in video streaming.
Attendees at the Vitec booth will get to review Vitec’s MGW Ace appliance, a hardware-based HEVC portable device for encoding and streaming video, as well as Vitec’s MGW D265 portable HEVC IP decoder. Also on display is Vitec’s IPTV sports solution which allows live, on-demand, or recorded video over an arena or stadium’s existing IP infrastructure. Users can manage live feeds and an unlimited number of digital signage layouts throughout the venue.
On June 10, Vitec will host an InfoComm16 Manufacturer’s Training Session, “Point to Point Streaming: Design Essentials for Single and Multi-Site Environments.” Vitec Presales Systems Engineer Scott Henry will lead a discussion on the best technologies and practices for employing quality video streaming. Henry will address bandwidth limitations, latency requirements and the benefits of forward error correction.
