VideoIQ, a producer of intelligent all-in-one video surveillance solutions, says its Rialto-A4—an all-in-one system that is designed to cost-effectively upgrade up to four channels of existing, or new, analog systems and specialty cameras—is available.
The Rialto-A4, which was unveiled in March 2012, contains VideoIQ’s advanced and accurate video analytics and is the first member of the line of Rialto Analytic Bridge products, the company says. It uses VideoIQ’s continuously self-calibrating analytics to cost-effectively upgrade up to four channels of existing, or new, analog systems and specialty cameras. By expanding to four channels, users can consolidate their equipment deployments and enter the market at a significantly lower cost per channel, up to 50 percent lower than typical single encoder deployments, VideoIQ says.
The Rialto-A4 delivers real-time threat detection, distributed on-board storage options that enables users to store video at the device without the need for a central server and “View VMS” which facilitates system-wide real-time alert notifications, the company says.
The Rialto-A4provides intelligent video analytics to the mainstream, offering organizations of every size a lower per-channel cost and a set of features second to none,” said Holly Tsourides, VideoIQ’s chief sales and marketing officer. “Using Rialto encoders as part of a broader VideoIQ network video solution, end users with small to medium-sized campuses can exercise a more strategic level of prevention with dramatically fewer false alarms at a significantly lower cost,” she said.
