Video on Its Way to Becoming Education Norm

73 percent of institutions use video for remote teaching and learning

CHATSWORTH, CALIF.—Video is quickly becoming a required teaching tool in higher education, as a recent survey shows that it is being used for a number of different needs by a range of institutions. Some of the most popular include remote teaching and learning (73 percent of institutions), video in classrooms (70 percent), supplementary course material (66 percent) and for lecture capture (65 percent).
