Houston-based Video Insight now offers support for JVC’s IP-based security video camera line. The partnership means JVC IP camera users will be able to manage cameras using the Video Insight video management software (VMS) suite.

Video Insight supports the following cameras from the JVC: VN-H37U, VN-H137U, VN-H237U, VN-H237VPU, VN-H57U, VN-H157WPU, VN-H257U, VN-H257VPU, VN-T16U, VN-T216U, and VN-T216VPRU.
JVC says its security cameras are known for their design, performance, and reliability, noting that the Super LoLux and Super LoLux HD are ideal for low-light applications, as they are able to produce high-quality color images in almost 0 lux.
The Video Insight suite features including mapping, a web client, iPad, iPhone and Android-ready clients, integrated active directory,Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Novell eDirectory, centralized management, integrated failover and U.S.-based technical support.
