Video Guidance, an integrator and audiovisual service company located in Bloomington, Minn., launches vStream, a new cloud-based service that streams video communications over the Internet.
A secure, hosted visual communication service, vStream offers organizations an all-in-one, webcasting solution, increasing the visual impact of training programs or announcements, says Mike Werch, Video Guidance’s president and CEO.“Video conferencing, distance learning and telemedicine are just a few of the creative ways our customers are using visual communications to meet their mission-critical business objectives,” he said.
The service also enables organizations to conduct live webcasting at a low-cost rate, and to record the video and play it back on demand, which can be effective as an educational and training tool, the company says.
In addition, vStream’s easy-to-use portal allows users to send out invitations to live or on-demand events while having an administrator tool to manage event schedules, attendee registrations and participants’ activity, the company says.
No matter what an agency’s infrastructure is, any organization can use vStream’s services affordably because users pay as they go without owning the system, Werch said. “From large campuses to rural communities, our customers are very strategic about how they communicate and how they use video,” he said.
