ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Two television journalists working for TV station WDBJ in Roanoke, Va., were shot and killed during a live interview this morning in Moneta, Va., about 25 miles east of Roanoke. Killed at the scene were WDBJ reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27.

Injured in the shooting was Vicki Gardner, head of the Smith Mountain Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce, who was being interviewed on-camera at the time by Parker.

As of this writing, the suspect has not been apprehended.
