Thinklogical LLC, a global manufacturer of secure fiber optic video and routing and extension systems, says it will introduce its 4K KVM and video extension solutions to the Chinese and Japanese markets during May 2013.

Thinklogical says it will introduce its SDIXtreme solutions, which support the extension of SMPTE standard 4K signals for a variety of broadcast and post production applications, at news conferences in Tokyo on May 9 and Beijing on May 14.

According to the international audio-visual industry trade association InfoComm, the Asia Pacific region is experiencing the most growth out of all professional audiovisual markets, Thinklogical says. The growth in the Asian markets is being driven by both China and India who are experiencing compound annual growth rates of over 20 percent and is the second largest professional-AV market in the world, the firm says.
“Thinklogical is proud to be first to the Japanese and Chinese markets with these 4K SMPTE/Digital Cinema extension solutions,” said Joe Pajer, Thinklogical’s president and CEO. “Customers will now have the ability to extend and switch 4K signal streams, without sacrificing the higher resolution, frame rates and color depth provided by the SMPTE 4K standard,” he said.
