Tektronix, a producer of broadcast video test, monitoring and analysis solutions, unveils the WFM2200 portable waveform monitor, the latest addition to the company’s line of waveform monitors and rasterizers.
The WFM2200’s combination of features and performance enables broadcasters and video-content producers to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot their video equipment, Tektronix says.
Using the WEM2200, broadcasters and those in video-content production are no longer limited to only monitoring basic standard definition-serial digital interface (SDI) video and analog audio, the company says. They now have the means to diagnose multi-format video, multi-channel/format audio and complex ancillary (ANC) data that supports broadcast systems.
The WFM2200 uniquely incorporates the exceptional performance of Tektronix’ advanced waveform monitors in a portable unit, the company says. In addition, the WFM2200 is customizable enabling users to install needed software that provides more capabilities to the base model.
“Our new WFM2200 sets a new standard for portable waveform monitors, combining outstanding performance, exceptional portability, and configurable to meet customers’ specific requirements,” said Eben Jenkins, Tektronix Video Product Line’s general manager. “The WFM2200 is the latest example of our commitment to innovation and creating waveform monitors that are cost-effective while meeting customers’ most demanding requirements.”
