Switronix Bolt220R LED light with remote

WESTBURY, N.Y. — Switronix recently announced wireless remote capability for its the Bolt line of LED video lights. The TL-BT220R model features a wireless remote that can control the light from up to 250 ft. away (non line-of-sight), allowing the user to control on/off, select color temperature, adjust light intensity, and sync up to nine channels. Additionally, you can bank up to 10 lights per channel, allowing you to control the lights in unison.

The addition of this model builds upon the TorchLED Bolt line by Switronix. The Bolt line features a 220-Watt equivalent light output and variable color temperature. Although the light is sized for on-camera applications, the lights’ brightness can easily compete against other stand-mounted panel lights. Adding wireless remote capability makes the light even more useful for stand-mounted applications.

The Bolt family of LED lights are made from lightweight ABS plastic, and have dimensions of 5.6 inches long by 4 inches wide. The lights can be adjusted from 3200K-5600K color temperature, and the fixture weighs about 1.2 lbs. All versions of the Bolt consume 13 Watts of power and can be powered from a DC 7.2V-16.8V supply or a Sony DV battery.

The TL-BT220R model with remote will retail for $40 more than the current TL-BT220, which is not remote-capable The wireless remote for the TL-BT220R (#TL-BTR) will be sold separately; it is not included with the TL-BT220R.
