SmartAVI, Inc., a producer of digital signage content creation, makes available its SignWare, a comprehensive digital signage package, the company says in a written statement.
SignWare is manageable from most locations, and offers crisp high-definition 720p/1080i high definition television (HDTV) video combined with stereo audio in a low-profile enclosure, according to SmartAVI, which is located in Burbank, Calif. The unit is equipped with a simple software package with no recurring fees, the company adds. The included software can configure media to be displayed in different zones at different times, the company says. With the tools included in the SignWare package, each display can be specialized to reach a target audience more effectively.
SignWare supports several different media types including 720p/1080i HDTV video with high-fidelity stereo audio, live really simple syndication (RSS) feeds; audio video interchange (AVI); Windows media video (WMV); graphic interchange format (GIF); animated GIF and joint photography experts group (JPG).
SignWare can be managed via local network or the Internet, and individual signage displays can be programmed and initiated from a personal computer.
