3D is leaping off of screens and displays everywhere, and now Sharp USA is taking the leap with six new high-brightness projectors that provide 3D images when used with compatible content and active-shutter 3D glasses (not included) that support the DLP Link System.

The company sees the projectors coming at you in venues including classrooms, corporate meeting rooms, scientific and medical imaging, houses of worship, trade shows and more.?

?The new projectors offer 3D support with both 60 Hz and 120 Hz XGA (1024x768) and SVGA (800x600) sources. They use Texas Instruments’ BrilliantColor multi-color processing to provide enhanced colors.

The new projectors include:

· PG-D45X3D – 4500 ANSI Lumens, XGA native resolution, available in February at MSLP of $2,795
· PG-D40W3D – 4000 ANSI Lumens, WXGA, available April at $2,795
· PG-D3510X – 3500 ANSI Lumens, XGA, available February at $2,095

· PG-D2710X – 2700 ANSI Lumens, XGA available January at $1,145
?· PG-D2500X – 2500 ANSI Lumens, XGA available January at $995

?They offer easy setup; a wireless remote that includes a built-in spotlight function and an on-screen pointer; and a unique slide lens cover.

?They also offer extensive connectivity. The PG-D45X3D includes an HDCP compliant DVI-I terminal for use with both analog and digital RGB sources; the PG-D40W3D offers HDMI connectivity; and all six models provide analog RGB and component inputs, S-video, composite video, as well as RGB loop-through, an RS-232C port and a USB input for mouse control. They have an RJ-45 LAN connector (except on the on PG-D2500X) for remote control and Web access for diagnostics and automatic e-mail status alerts.

They crank out 10 W stereo audio (5W + 5W) on the PG-D45X3D and PG-D40W3D and 7 W on the other models in the line-up. ??
