Ross Unveils Lightning CS for Legislature Broadcasts

Ross has rebranded its Legislative Control System to the new Lightning Control System for legislation broadcasts and recording, which now also addresses a broader range of applications, including corporate, house of worship, education, live events and news broadcasts.

IROQUOIS, ONTARIO—Ross has rebranded its Legislative Control System to the new Lightning Control System for legislation broadcasts and recording, which now also addresses a broader range of applications, including corporate, house of worship, education, live events and news broadcasts.

The Lightning CS is able to automate control of meetings through a single operator with the help of its touch screen graphic user interface. This new version also adds improved picture-in-picture functionality, support for the PIVOTcam pan-tilt-zoom cameras and USB joystick control of cameras.

Ross will showcase the new version of the Lightning Control System at the upcoming 2017 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
