Roland Systems Group has available updated software for its M-400, M-380 and M-300 V-Mixer digital mixing consoles.
The updates include full project file compatibility and interchangeability between different models of V-Mixing Systems, Roland said. That feature creates a situation where a project created on any model of V-mixer—including the new M-480 V-Mixer—can be loaded via USB flash drive or RCS software to another model of V-Mixer.
The V-Mixer consoles, based on the REAC Ethernet audio protocol, are a central component in Roland’s V-Mixing Systems with integrated digital snakes and multichannel recording, the firm says.
The updated software demonstrates the continued support of the M-400 V-Mixer following the introduction of the new flagship M-480 V-Mixer console, the company says. In addition, Roland will continue to release updates for all V-Mixer consoles as new features become available including the “virtual sound check” ability when linked with the new R-1000 48-track player/recorder.
