RFS makes its plenum-rated wideband cables with low attenuation, heat transfer properties and temperature-stabilized dielectric materials to be able to operate at high-transmit power levels. The cables feature low-flame-spread and low-smoke characteristics; have a solid outer conductor to create a continuous RFI/EMI shield to minimize system interference; and a star-shaped continuous dielectric to provide support to the cable that eliminates electrical or mechanical problems in tight bending areas. It also meets plenum cable standards like CMP, ETL listed to UL444, and Canadian CSA C.22.2/FT6.

RFS has also announced its offering CellFlex foam-dielectric coaxial cable and RadiaFlex radiating cable for in-building and tunnel applications with a flame retardant, halogen-free red jacket. Alternative colors and customer-specific markings are also available on an individual basis.
