BEAVERTON, ORE.—The state of Oregon is looking to institute a new way to penalize speeding drivers, as the House has sent a bill to Governor Kate Brown that would allow red light cameras to also ticket speeders. House Bill 2409 lets cities use camera technology to issue tickets to drivers going 11 mph over the speed limit; signs would be posted alerting drivers traffic laws are being enforce by cameras.
