Piksel Streamed Obama’s Howard University Address
WASHINGTON– Video streaming provider Piksel live streamed President Barack Obama’s commencement speech at Howard University’s graduation ceremony, this past Saturday, May 7.
“We anticipate a huge amount of interest in President Obama’s commencement address, and we are proud that we have been entrusted by Howard University,” said Scott Williams, EVP Americas at Piksel.
Piksel provided fully redundant encoding and delivery paths and hosted the video and landing page for Howard University in anticipation of high demand. On-site personnel, as well as staff at Piksel’s live streaming and monitoring center in Atlanta, monitored the event.
Piksel has been working with Howard University’s radio station, WHUR-FM, for some time, providing video streaming and work for their digital business strategy.
