LAS VEGAS— The PhilipsUltraClear Display will be available beginning Spring 2014 at a list price of $1,199.99.

It combines 4K resolution with a color depth of 1.07 billion colors to deliver performance, screen clarity and detail with four times the resolution of Full HD. This Philips display will provide UltraClear 3840x2160 pixel images to meet visual demands, and the 28-inch monitor (model 288P6) is also intended for those seeking onscreen clarity and color accuracy and includes built-in stereo speakers for multimedia and MHL technology for easy mobile device connectivity.

The PhilipsUltraClear Display comes equipped with HDMI, DisplayPort, Dual-link DVI and VGA SmartConnect ports, enabling high resolution uncompressed video and audio content. USB 3.0 ensures speedy data transfers and smartphone charging with global connectivity. Additionally, an integrated MHL port allows users to connect compatible phones and tablets directly to the monitor to mirror content to the 16:9 widescreen display, while simultaneously charging the mobile device.

The display also features MultiView functionality, which enables active dual connect and view so that users can work with multiple devices like a PC and laptop side-by-side.

It also features SmartErgoBase, which enables the monitor to be lowered for a comfortable viewing angle. The height, swivel, tilt and rotation angle adjustments position the monitor for comfort, while its cable management reduces cable clutter.

The LCD panel type TN display is backlit by a W-LED system to reach a brightness of 300 nits. It has an internal power supply and also features 3Wx2 audio.
