ObjectVideo Seeks U.S. Probe of Pelco Cameras

The complaint seeks an exclusion order and a cease and desist order barring “infringing” Pelco products
Publish date:

ObjectVideo, a producer of intelligent video products, has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) requesting an investigation of certain Pelco Sarix network cameras, including the Sarix IDE10DN-0 and the Sarix IEE10DN-0 cameras.

The complaint seeks an exclusion order and a cease and desist order barring the importation, sale for importation or sale after importation of “infringing” Pelco products manufactured outside of the United States.

In addition, ObjectVideo is also involved in an ongoing USITC investigation of certain Bosch and Samsung hardware and software product lines, the company says. The impacted Bosch products include certain VG4, VG5, AutoDome Junior HD, Dinion, Extreme and FlexiDome embedded network camera products; VideoJet X, VideoJet X SN and VIP series encoder products; and Bosch’s Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) software, according to ObjectVideo.

Samsung products under investigation include certain analog camera products and A1, SV-V and WiseNet network camera products such as SCB-4000, SNB-3000 and SNV-5010, ObjectVideo says. The trial in that case is scheduled to begin on July 18, 2012 at the USITC.
