NewTek, a producer of video and 3D graphics technology, says its TriCaster TCXD850 CS hardware control surface and the TriCaster TCXD850 Live Desktop, will fit seamlessly into users live production setup.
In addition, the TriCaster can be used for fixed or portable installation to meet the most demanding high definition (HD) live production needs, the company says in a written statement.
Benefits of using the TriCaster TCXD850, along with the TriCaster TCXD850 CS gives users control over the most challenging HD live production as well as an “intuitive control layout” that allows users to have physical control of all sources. Back-lit buttons, twist knobs, a premium T-bar and three-axis joystick provide a hands-on connection to the functions and effects available from the TriCaster TCXD850 interface, NewTek says.
“One-button recording” fosters capturing content from a live production at full resolution (up to 1080p) allowing users to record an entire presentation for later use or to capture clips for double data rate (DDR) playback during the show, the company says. In addition, “one-button internet streaming” allows use of Adobe Flash or Microsoft Windows Media to deliver a full HD live stream directly to the Web, with simultaneous archiving for later viewing.

The study also found that a majority of cloud providers believe it is the responsibility of users to secure the cloud and not the responsibility of cloud providers.
