Making a run into the tablet marketplace, Cisco today unveiled Cius, a device boasting integration with desktop computing, HD (720p) telepresence by dialing a phone number, cloud computing, and an ever-expanding world of apps-a all in a device about the size of an iPad, that docks into a landline.
If it does all it appears to do, it could replace a lot of what you need a desktop or laptop for. It provides mobile videoconferencing and cloud computing over 3G/4G, all over what the company calls an "Intuitive, context-driven user interface."
It runs on the Android operating systems.
