HAMPTON, VA.—Drones could be the next piece of technology that assists in the exploration of Mars. NASA Langley Research Center is currently developing drone technology that would allow for further investigation of areas of the Red Planet that rovers cannot access. There is no FAA on Mars, so regulations aren’t the worry, but NASA must still deal with problems like Mars thinner air, among other elements. Langley Research Center released a concept video as part of their announcement, watch below.
