AUSTIN, MN–Like many school auditoriums and gymnasiums across the country, Austin High School’s Knowlton Auditorium, which happens to be directly connected to its gym, serves as an event space for the surrounding community.

With the Minnesota-based architectural company ATS&R designing the new technology systems and Alpha Video and Audio in Eden Prairie, MN installing them, the upgrades to the facility included a complete overhaul of the existing audio and video infrastructure. Those upgrades ranged from Electro-Voice pro audio speakers being installed throughout the auditorium and gymnasium, to a Christie Digital WUXGA, 3-DLP, 12,000-lumen projector with a Broadcast Pix Flint Integrated Production switcher feeding it.
