FARNBOROUGH, U.K.–L2Tek, a video and high-speed communications systems manufacturer, and e-con Systems, an embedded product development partner, have collaborated on a new UVC camera board suitable for low-light performances in webcasting, sports and security camera applications.

L2Tek created the main two-board component and e-con Systems added the S-mount to develop the “3CAM CU30 USB Video Class Camera with S-mount,” which consists of two-boards–one containing the camera senor and the other including a USB 3.0 UVC controller board. The product acquires at 1080p/60fps picture quality and is based on OnSemi’s AR0330 CMOS Image Sensor, so it is capable of capturing a 3.2MP still image. Other functions include high-speed image capture, gain, frame rate and exposure while maintaining low-power consumption.

The See3CAM CU30 camera board solution is now available.
