IPVideo Corp., a provider of video management and physical security information management (PSIM) solutions located in Bay Shore, N.Y., unveiled “C3 Fusion PSIM,” a new solution that filters and prioritizes the volume of data streaming from a company’s security subsystems.
C3 Fusion PSIM routes the streaming data to a “common operating picture” so that security personnel can make informed decisions with complete situational awareness, IPVideo says in a written statement.
The C3 system allows operators to take control of a security event; collaborate and communicate with others; analyze information; and efficiently resolve any incident, the company says. C3 Fusion can preserve the recording of what occurred in a common database for review or forensic analysis, the firm adds.
C3 Fusion PSIM can transform situational assessment and security incident management from a reactive mode to a proactive mode, reducing false alarms and human errors. The system also aids organizations in adherence to government and homeland security regulations, the company says.
“C3 Fusion PSIM is the culmination of our 15 years of experience in developing and deploying custom network physical security systems to a diverse worldwide client base," said Steve Sleicher, IPVideo Corp.’s chief operating officer.
