IMT-Vislink Opens Customer Support Portal

SARASOTA, FLA.—IMT-Vislink, which is owned by xG Technology, is launching a customer technical support portal for clients in broadcast, law enforcement and defense markets. The portal is driven by the cloud-based Freshdesk system.

Freshdesk manages customer service and support interaction with multiple touch points including email, phone, website and social media. It provides a customizable knowledge base, trouble ticketing system and can offer 24/7 support.

All of IMT-Vislink’s customer support communications will flow through a central system that is integrated with all other system used for customer contact. The hope is for this new system to allow for faster turnaround times for repairs, responses and full visibility into support history.

In addition, Freshdesk is expected to be able to enable IMT-Vislink to offer a customer service mobile app for its customers in the future.
