One of company’s planned displays at the Satellite 2018 show

WASHINGTON—The IMT Vislink booth at the upcoming Satellite 2018 show will house the debut of the company’s new satellite data terminal, the Vislink AirPro-75. This is just one of the products set to be on display, others will include the MSAT-120 satellite video and data terminal, MicroLite 2 HD ultra-compact COFDM wireless transmitter, HCAM HEVC/UHD wireless transmitter and ViewBack low latency dual channel diversity receiver-decoder.

The Vislink AirPro-75 is a single-button deployment IP satellite data terminal for use with Eutelsat’s Tooway and ViaSat Exede services. The unit is a fully motorized, driveaway antenna system with auto-acquisition functionality. If features a 75cm Ka-band antenna, with future models expected to have 120cm Ka band systems and a motorized feed for linear polarization.

The rest of IMT Vislink’s offerings include the Mantis MSAT, a tri-band portable satellite terminal for secure and non-secure data and video transmission that supports X- and Ku-band configurations; the MicroLite 2 transmitter features HD/SD-SDI and HDMI inputs with COFDM transmission and can deliver up to 250mW of power for HD video transmission; the HCAM is a HEVC 4K UHD wireless transmitter with user-interchangeable RF modules and a variety of software options; and the ViewBack dual-channel diversity receiver-decoder provides reception of return studio video transmission back to the camera operator, functioning on the 2GHz-licensend band.
