POMPANO BEACH, FL– IC Realtime, a digital surveillance and technology product manufacturer, has created a new Government Practice and Law Enforcement Division and has announced who will be leading it.
Robert P. Mitchell will be the unit’s director where he will work closely with government officials and security agencies to deliver rapid deployment-type surveillance systems for event use and develop direct government relationships, an announcement says.
In a statement, IC Realtime’s CEO Matt Sailor said: “With IC Realtime’s technology, tactical expertise and connections in the government and law enforcement sectors, the company is poised to ‘lead from the front’ to better protect the American public, by expertly equipping those on the front lines. Mitchell has a persistent track record of developing growth in these areas.”
Mitchell has over 30 years of experience in design work related to security-based technology, taking part in projects like video storage in Iraq’s Green Zone and citywide surveillance systems for Trenton, New Jersey and for the Californian localities of Los Angeles County and Long Beach.
Of his appointment Robert Mitchell was quoted as saying: “For years, manufacturers have pumped out lots of cameras and recording equipment, but have not invested the time or resources to develop applications that make it easier for law enforcement. This is an area in which IC Realtime is going to lead by innovating and developing adaptable equipment for use by law enforcement in real-world scenarios.”
