SAN FRANCISCO—The development of artificial intelligence continues to make strides, but challenges are arising about the pace of its development and the amount of power to utilize it. In a recent article in the MIT Technology Review, Tom Simonite, explores how after Moore’s Law, which once forecasted that the number of transistors that could be fitted into a given area of a chip would double every two years, developers are instituting new ways to continue growing the technology, like chips that copy from biology for instance.
