WOODBURY, N.Y.—It was out with the old and in with the new at Fitchburg, Mass., PEG station Fitchburg Access Television (FATV), replacing its previous HD cameras with Hitachi’s Z-HD6000 cameras.
FATV has two studios and a mobile production truck that allows it to produce more than 200 shows per year and live remote broadcasts for Fitchburg State University sports, high school and college football games, and other community events. Having acquired 10 Z-HD6000 cameras, FATV will supply four to its mobile truck, with the option to add a fifth when needed.
The Z-HD6000s also were implemented in FATV’s studio, where they are also able to be used as educational tools for programs with Fitchburg State University and the public school system.
The Z-HD6000 features three 2/3-inch MOS sensors and advanced digital signal processing. Remote access for the cameras is also available for mobile productions.
