The website Yale Environment 360 is an online magazine published by theYale School of Forestry & Environmental StudiesandYaleUniversitythat provides opinion, analysis, reporting and debate on global environmental issues.

Yale Environment 360 features original articles by scientists, journalists, environmentalists, academics, policy makers and business people, as well as multimedia content and a daily digest of major environmental news. Among the topics and areas covered on the website are biodiversity, business & innovation, climate, energy, forests, oceans, policy & politics, pollution & health, science & technology, sustainability, urbanization and water.

The website also encourages viewer participation in environmental matters such as a notice from a viewer that a coalition of activists launched a 24-hour campaign on the social media network Twitter to pressure global leaders attending the Rio+20 summit to slash fossil fuel subsidies; or a video alerting viewers that one of the last free-flowing rivers in Colorado—the Crystal—is now threatened by two proposed dam projects that would transform its rushing waters.
