Since 1950, the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) has worked to support all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of America’s Army and the men and women who serve.
The AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s active duty soldiers, as well as those serving in the Army Reserve, the National Guard, retirees, wounded warriors, veterans and civilians associated with the Army (including government officials and family members). The AUSA says it works to be the voice for all components of the U.S. Army while fostering public support of the Army’s role in national security.
As the premier voice for America’s soldiers, the AUSA says it is “a dedicated team committed to building the best professional and representative association for the world’s best Army.” To achieve that goal, the AUSA uses its website to create an online network. That network includes 125 local chapters that provide recreational and educational opportunities to soldiers and their families, as well as providing grassroots support for soldiers which is achieved, in part, by informing the rest of the United States of the value of the Army to the nation.
As the premier voice for America’s soldiers, the AUSA’s website is Government Video’s Website of the Week.
