Government Video Expo 2015 will have lots to see and do, but one of the most exciting for many attendees is the daily raffle of fun prizes. Free to enter, there are raffle drawings at the conclusion of both days that the exhibition floor is open.

The Marshall Electronics CV505-MB/M HD POV camera is a tiny high-quality HD camera with interchangeable lens capability. (It comes with a 12mm wide-angle lens.) Intended for unusual mounting locations and interesting point-of-view shots, the CV505-MB/M provides both HD-SDI and HDMI output for recording and monitoring. It can be remotely controlled using an RS485 serial connector, and it has exceptional low-light characteristics for getting clear shots in available light.

Telestream Episode is a professional-quality software encoder that can convert practically any video format into any other video format. For example, you can take a ProRes file and convert it to MPEG-4 or other standard that can be viewed on any computer. At the GV Expo, two certificates for Telestream Episode will be awarded, including the activation codes that you can use once the software is downloaded.

The DPA d:screet Slim 4061 microphone is a tiny professional unit popular with film and video production crews. Small enough to be easily hidden in clothing, the DPA 4061 has the sort of quality pickup needed for high-end filmmaking and documentary video. The 4061 will work with all leading wireless mic solutions, such as Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Wisycom and Zaxcom, and can even be adapted to work directly into a recorder or mixer.

Already announced for the GV Expo raffle are a JVC Axxion camera, Grass Valley EDIUS editing software, a Blackmagic Design ATEM Production Studio 4K switcher and Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini - SDI to HDMI 12G converter. In addition, several books that will be of interest to video producers will be given away as part of the raffle.
