Woodland Park, N.J. —FSR is extending its range of audiovisual products with the debut of its DV-HMSW4K-88 matrix switcher, which routes eight HD sources to any of eight HD destinations. These destinations may include video displays (flat-panel and projectors) as well as other video devices.
The DV-HMSW4K-88 matrix switcher supports 1080p HD up to 4K, as well as all 3D formats and multichannel digital audio formats such as PCM, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Switching and other commands can be implemented using the front-panel pushbuttons, IR remote control, RS-232 or via TCP/IP

Among its many features, the DV-HMSW4K-88 supports resolutions up to 1080p/60Hz, 48-bit Deep Color, 4k/30Hz; allows any source to be displayed on multiple displays at the same time, and allows any HDMI display to view any HDMI source at any time. The switcher works with a variety of audio formats, including PCM, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD, as well as a master audio pass-through HDMI output. The unit offers multiple switching modes, such as push-in button, IR remote control, RS-232 control and TCP/IP control. The device can be rack mounted, and the system includes nine IR receivers, eight IR transmitters, a handheld IR remote control and a power supply.
