D-Link Systems Inc., a maker of connectivity products for mid- to large-sized organizations, has expanded its line of “Cloud Cameras” with the introduction of four surveillance cameras.
The new Cloud Cameras are the Pan & Tilt Day/Night Network Camera, the Outdoor HD Wireless Day/Night Network Camera, the Day/Night Cloud Camera 1150 and the Cloud Camera 1050, D-Link said. Each provides around-the-clock surveillance, as well as expanded capabilities, including easy monitoring of large areas with Wi-Fi extender features, 720p HD video clarity and weatherproof casing for outdoor surveillance, the company said.
In addition, the Pan & Tilt Day/Night Network Camera incorporates D-Link’s sound detection and Wi-Fi extender features for enhanced surveillance alerting and easier placement of additional cameras by extending the wireless network to those hard to reach locations, the company said.
The Outdoor HD Wireless Day/Night Network Camera is designed with IP-65 certified weatherproof casing and a versatile operating temperature system (ranging from minus 13-degrees Fahrenheit to 113-degrees) to withstand all-season outdoor use, D-Link said.
To cater to a range of indoor-monitoring needs, the Day/Night Cloud Camera 1150 and the Cloud Camera 1050 are equipped with a Wi-Fi extender that is designed to make it easier to place additional cameras in hard-to-reach locations, D-Link says. Both cameras are equipped with H.264 enhanced video compression that enables users to record up to five-times more footage when compared to MJPEG systems, according to the company.
