NORTHWICH, ENGLAND & LAGUNA NIGEL, CALIF.—American Forces Network will get the middleware for its new MPEG-4 HD set-top boxes from Inview, according to DigitalGlue, which was recently tasked with handling the transmission system for AFN.

Inview will provide AFN with an interface and range of broadcast services for the DVB-S2 twin tuner set-top boxes; DigitalGlue will deliver the network’s headend system.

The partnership between Inview and DigitalGlue is meant to allow AFN to meet consumer needs by providing an enhanced viewing experience.
