They say each day the federal government closes costs us all something like $100 million in lost productivity, making the epic storms of Washington something close to half-billion-dollar killers. That's not even taking into account the costs of regular old businesses, damaged facilities, and now removal.

So who fared best during Snowmageddon? Maybe folks like these, who already had a telework program in place and were well prepared for snowstorms--and earthquakes, swine flu outbreaks, traffic meltdowns, hurricanes and more.

Did YOUR agency fare well in the snow? Do you have a comprehensive telework program that made working through the snow as easy as a turn in fresh powder? Got a better plan for how to do it next time?
