Cyviz, an international producer of “collaborative” telepresence solutions, unveiled its upgraded Arlington, Va. facility which now features five demonstration rooms containing command and control, high resolution, executive conference rooms and 3D solutions.
Each solution incorporates collaborative telepresence which simultaneously displays video conferencing, business data, television, live satellite and other visual sources, Cyviz says. Users who have access to those resources can make “more powerful decisions,” the company adds.
“Cyviz is a manufacturer of large screen visualization walls, and what we call collaborative telepresence,” said Jeff Eisenhard, the company’s vice president of the Americas. To produce its visualization and telepresence products, Cyviz incorporates technology from Cisco, Projection Design, Planar, Bose and NVIDIA. “We can’t do what we do without our partners being a strong part of that,” he added.
Cyviz, which has been at the Arlington location since June 2009, calls the unveiling of the demonstration rooms a “grand re-opening” of its “Cyviz Technology Center” (CTC). “Why a grand re-opening?” said Mark Sincevich, Cyviz’s director of federal. Cyviz has some new partners who have made a new commitment to Cyviz, and there are two new solutions in the CTC that feature flat panels, he said.
“We’ve made some significant upgrades to the center,” Eisenhard said. “The idea of the grand re-opening is we have a lot exciting things going on; we have a lot of exciting new technologies,” he added.
