The current White House videographer plans to attend the keynote presentation by the former White House videographer at Government Video Expo 2011 on Dec. 1 at the Washington Convention Center.
Hope Hall, the current videographer is to attend the keynote presentation by Arun Chaudhary at GV Expo. Ms. Hall took over for Mr. Chaudhary who left the position in August to write a book about his experiences as the first White House videographer.
As the videographer, Chaudhary documented President Barack Obama, but he left the White House in August 2011 to write a book for Times Books about his tenure with the Obama administration. The book will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the White House, including at state dinners, treaty signings and disaster areas, and at GV Expo, Chaudhary will share how he captured the president during some of those historic moments.
Government Video Expo 2011 is being held in Washington from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, and this year’s expo offers speakers and information from the top ranks of government video production.
