Clear-Com Hires Kruman as Sales Engineer

Former Army combat camera broadcast engineer uses expertise in new role

ALAMEDA, CALIF. ─Clear-Com has added John Anthony Kruman to its team as sales engineer for its military, aerospace and government business. He will sell intercom solutions to new and existing customers and will report directly to J. Michael Hughes, senior vice president and general manager of the company’s MAG business.

In the past, Kruman has worked as a communications equipment engineer for U.S. governmental agencies and mobile broadcast productions.

Kruman most recently worked at Riedel Communications, where he served as the senior engineer, regional sales engineer and government solutions manager focused on designing communication systems as well as the training and commissioning of systems purchased by customers. He also oversaw Riedel’s expansion across the Midwest.

Prior to Riedel, Kruman worked as an engineer supporting mobile broadcast production clients for systems design companies, including New Century Productions, Beck Associates and National Mobile Television.

After having taken advanced and basic television system maintenance courses at the Defense Information School, Kruman began his career in the industry as a combat camera broadcast engineer for the U.S. Army.

The new employees joining CEI are Senior Design Engineer Tim Caldecott, Senior Systems Support Engineer Mel Berry Jr., Design Engineer Jeremy Zavik, and Sales Account Manager Jennifer Helmrich.
