LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND & MONTREAL—The City of Coppel in Texas has gone digital, utilizing a digital signage network to communicate news, events and information to its nearly 40,000 residents. To power the digital signage, the city has gone with Navori Labs’ QL digital signage engine.

The system is powered by an on-site QL Professional system, a multi-seat software that offers flexible content creation, management and playout toolset to 25 screens. Coppel can add more players and screens through additional software licenses, and does not require integration work. In addition, the QL system provides user-permission features to ensure only those with special permission can upload messages to certain displays.

The QL Professional system is currently applied at the city’s municipal building. There are current plans to add the system to the William T. Cozby Public library in the future, as well as integrate touchscreen applications to certain facilities and displays.
