Christie Velvet LED video wall and LCD panels installed in the terminal

CYPRESS, CALIF.—As passengers make their way through Buffalo Niagara International Airport, whether arriving or departing, will be able to find information displayed for them on some of Christie Digital Systems latest technology. With the help of Stampede, Christie’s Velvet LED video wall and LCD panels have been installed inside the terminal and the Christie Spyder X20 and Christie Phoenix video processors are being used for controlling advertising content.

The installation is a 15x20-foot Christie Velvet LED video wall with a 2.5 million pixel pitch that is located at the airport’s entrance gate atrium. Christie also provided a narrow-bezel 3x3 matrix of flat panels at the baggage claim exit.

The digital signage displays, in addition to showing needed airport information, also provides advertising and welcoming materials for the Buffalo area.
