The ability to record video and audio of behavioral studies resulted in the university two install two pan-tilt-zoom cameras with the Reach Bee8 capture, streaming, recording and distribution system. Capable of delivering live RTSP and RTMP streams concurrently, users can directly view live content, while remote viewers can access the same content live through a CDN. The Bee8 records a high profile MP4 file for VOD distribution and provides redundant recording and local playback.

The entire system is controlled from Manager Lite or the Reach Video app, which can run on PC or iPad outside of the observation rooms. Users can start or stop recording, control screen layout, recall individual camera presets or control each camera independently.
