HAWTHORNE, N.Y. —BTX Technologies has enhanced its free Pro Plate and Panel Designer software by adding new connector symbols and increasing the availability of designation strips for in-field labeling.

“The upgrades make the technology even easier, providing powerful new options that enable customers to design, configure, specify, and order custom wall plates and panels within a matter of minutes,” said BTX President Greg Schwartz.

BTX’s Pro Plate and Panel Designer software configuration and ordering application enables users to select from the product library to begin. Connector options, which appear in a menu, include products from manufacturers such as Neutrik and Switchcraft, in addition to BTX’s own patented connectors. Users drag and drop their choices to the desired spot on the plate or panel; optional engraving may also be added if desired. Once customers have completed configuring and designing, they can request quotes or order via the software. Most orders will be delivered within three to five days.

The latest version of the Pro Plate and Panel Designer software solution can now be downloaded for free.

BTX manufactures and distributes interface and integration products for audio, video, security, digital signage and other applications. The company has been certified as an InfoComm International Sapphire Certified Audiovisual Solutions Provider since 2007.
