Avrio has helped police forces around the country with surveillance systems, including last fall in St. Paul, Minn., for the Republican National Convention, and in Denver for the Democratic National Convention, as well as in Phoenix for Super Bowl XLIII.

As described in the February issue of Government Video, the company’s products are also helping police in Buffalo, N.Y., reduce crime.

Generation3 Capital said it had acquired “controlling interest” in Avrio in partnership with WF Security Fund, an affiliate of Waveland Investments.

RMS Technology’s products include pole-mounted video surveillance systems knows as PODSS (Portable Over Digital Surveillance Systems).
