ATX Networks Introduces Video Encoder Line

AJAX, Ontario, Canada — ATX Networks recently introduced its DigiVu product line, including the DigiVu II Micro encoder that is targeted at IP video backhaul and distribution. The company said that the DigiVu II Micro offers best-in-class video quality and support for multiple output profiles.

Simple to configure and use for any encoding application, the DigiVu II Micro encoder has advanced access security and network segmentation support. For video, the unit offers up- and down-scaling, frame-rate conversion, de-interlacing and color-space conversion.

Its audio capabilities include sample rate conversion and a configurable audio delay. Using the ATX Networks DigiVu II Micro encoder, a video can be pushed to multiple publishing destinations per output stream.

The DigiVu II Micro encoder can use either MPEG-2 or H.264 compression, at resolutions up to 1080p. The unit can provide HD and SD simulcast output from a single input program, with simultaneous multiple bit rate streams.
