Arista Launches New HDBaseT Extender/Transmitter

FREMONT, CALIF.—Arista Corporation is ready to roll out the ARD-0301-A01-TX HDBaseT extender/transmitter. The new product, which features three inputs, is designed to transmit analog video to digital HDMI displays, which enables advanced HDMI display devices to be used with legacy VGA sources.

By incorporating HDBaseT technology, the ARD-0301-A01-TX can eliminate multiple cable runs and signal degradation that can occur with transmission of signals over long distances using traditional VGA and HDMI cables. The unit also features two HDMI inputs plus a VGA input and a 3.5mm audio input connector as well as a Power over HDBaseT output. It supports HDMI video signals up to 1080p/60Hz with embedded audio. VGA input signals up to 1920x1200 video can be extended up to 330 feet.

The ARD-0301-A01-TX also provides Power over Ethernet to power an HDBaseT receiver. The system also offers input access for up to three devices with controls for input selection.

Arista is now offering the ARD-0301-A01-TX for $399.
