WHITESBORO, TX– The Law Enforcement and Emergency Services Video Association is offering a free CCTV seminar for homeowners and business owners during their annual 2016 Digital Multimedia Evidence Training Symposium.
The seminar, “Surveillance Video is to Protect and Prevent: What is Your CCTV Missing?,” scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15, will be hosted by certified LEVA experts who will explore best practices for video surveillance systems. Technical topics to be discussed will be resolution, lighting, camera placement and storage.
“Our experts will make it easier for non-technical attendees to understand and implement best practices for CCTV systems for their homes and businesses, said Jan Garvin, LEVA executive director. “This is LEVA’s first community outreach effort during one our conferences, and we think it’s going to be a very valuable opportunity for the residents of Scottsdale, Phoenix, and other surrounding cities.” Attendees will get access to the conferences show floor and attendance is free.
The 2016 LEVA Digital Multimedia Evidence Training Symposium takes place Nov. 14-18 at the Hilton Doubletree Paradise Valley in Scottsdale, AZ. This year’s topics include forensic video workflow, courtroom testimony for forensic video analysts, and body-worn camera and dashcam presentation techniques.
